[Whatever your history is, you are one of the lucky ones selected to receive a rare chance to go on a cruise! From a raffle that, apparently, you entered. Odd... isn't it?
Regardless, you go to the boat. And what a boat it is! For three blissful days, you relax and bask in the warm glow of the sun and the nightlife provided by other guests. On the third day, a grand party is held.
You move across the floor, giving acknowledgment to familiar faces, and continue about your business. That is, until something suddenly catches your eye in the center of the crowd. A young man, no older then twenty, approaches you.]
"You're late. It isn't polite to keep someone waiting."
[He stares at you for a long moment before smiling like the chesire cat himself.]
"If you want to proceed, I need you to sign your name in my book. Oh, don't worry, it's just a contract with the usual stuff. What it basically says that you'll take responsibility for your own actions."
[In confusion, you sign your name in the red floral book he holds out to you. The ink shimmers in the pale moonlight. Stepping back, he laughs impishly.]
"Do you think you can keep your eyes closed forever?"
[Suddenly, the boat begins to shake. People scream and the sound of footsteps running in all direction fills the air. You blink once and when you turn back to ask him what's going on, you discover that he's gone.
The next thing you know, you've gone over the edge of the ship, and descended into the water below.]
You are lost in the blue.
