Plot: Since the beginning of the time of humans, vampires, werewolves, and elves have coexisted alongside them. But some thousand years ago, humans became ignorant of the other species. They preferred this, and decided to remain apart from the human's fear and persecution, choosing to live in secret.
Until one night when they were discovered. A student named Thomas Isaacson was murdered by a werewolf... and the entire event was caught on tape. The werewolf in question was hunted down and, in front of the entire police force, confirmed that the tape was not a fake. After that, all hell broke loose. The werewolf, Damon Elizeth, was tracked by a mob and killed, which angered the werewolves enough to come out and attack. A mass battle broke out, killing dozens of wolves and humans alike. And when it was over, there was no more pretending.
It was still more than ten years before the elves and vampires were discovered. The werewolves, having been at war with the humans for twelve years, came before the elf leaders to request assitance. They did not want a part of it until they realized that that meeting had also been taped, and since the vampires were mentioned at the meeting, both other species were discovered.
Wars broke out everywhere as the word spread through the humans. It was twenty years before the war began settling down, and by that time the world had changed completely. The different species remained separated, but now the humans were aware of their existance, and so the species did not have to worry about keeping hidden. The werewolves still chose to remain out of sight, and made their home in the sewers and abandoned subway tracks. They called their new home Diendum. The elves still preferred the life in the forests, and chose a spot near the edge of the city. They knocked down buildings and nurtured the plants until a thriving forest had replaced a part of the city. They called this place Taure. The vampires were generally rich, and so resided in a world of luxury. They built of skyscrapers and lived in apartment buildings the size of hotels.
Somewhere along the lines, in a way unknown to any, the sky forgot how to turn to day, and night took over permantently. This allowed the vampires to walk around whenever they wished, and plants needed exra UV lighting protected during the "day" hours, which remained the same. Because of this, the vampires still could not go near these areas during that time.
The year is now 2051. It has been 43 years since the discovery of the werewolves, and the main war has ended. There are, however battle on the side where groups of each species hunt each other. The vampires have hated the wolves, and vise versa, since the beginning, and that hasn't changed. The elves stay away from that fight, choosing to remain neutral. The most human hate them all, and the feeling is mutual.
