In a dark place known as Toxicity, two rival groups fight for survival on the cold, empty streets. The Scratchers; a band of misfit, orphaned teens who have no place to go and no money, and the StrongHold; a bunch of rich kids who have nothing better to do than keep the Scratchers in line. The Scratchers dominate the Lower City, lead by a rebellious teen by the name of Toby, while the StrongHold rule the ritzy Upper City under the iron fist of a man known by most as Cancer. Both have their problems and their strengths, and fights often break out between the two. Yet, somehow, relationships and friendships form and both groups are like families to those who reside among their ranks. The teens live out their adolescent years just like you and me, but they face more danger, risks and challenges than any others.
