Imagine this: You want to use images of Ichigo from Bleach to represent your character, how do you know if someone else is already using Ichigo to represent their character? And if someone is, is it still okay to use Ichigo? (Ichigo was just a random thing I thought of) I wanted to use the Okami/Amaterasu wolf/girl combo for a bond character, etc, but I don't know whether or not someone's already using them!

             Well, you don’t really know unless you look at a profile and see. I check characters and I don’t think I’ve come across an Ichigo. Hitsugaya, yes, Ichigo, I don’t think so. There aren’t any face claims on Zireling (well, the Taken Names one is like a claim, it’s the only one we have), like modern sites have. So, you could use Ichigo even if someone else is using that picture to represent the character. There isn’t a face claim, so feel free to use an image that someone else already has. It’s your character, after all; why restrict someone of a character when the image fits it perfectly? Merr, I hope I made sense.

& for occupations (another question), how do you know what that occupation entails? Like a job description. x]

It would be rather simple. If your occupation is an assassin you kill people. A shoe maker, you make shoes. Nothing? Well, then that is exactly what you put.
