Plot (if any) or summary, a welcoming:
What was said to be the final battle, was far from it. The Varden, Eragon and Saphira, lashed out at their foes, on the fringes of the Hadarac Desert. The Empire, Murtagh and Thorn, frantically struck back with endless battalions. Both forces neutralized eachother, great number, against great skill.
Murtagh and Eragon grappled, fighting, each ready, if the slightest unwilling. The battle carried out. Loses were felt, and sickening. The battle field was sodden with blood, and sweat, bodies of both sides left, sprawled, and in death, equals, brothers.
They died. Murtagh slipped, open for a final blow, Eragon hesitated. The hesitation was fatal, but not for him. Murtagh, unbalanced, stuck the sword of their father through his brother's side, a non-fatal wound. Eragon returned the favor. His own sword burying its blade between ribs, instantly killing the Rider. His dragon as well, fell along with.
Galbatorix took advantage, making his grand appearance. Eragon, bleeding, near dying, and Saphira, bloodied, and injured. Fought back. But heroes are never immortal. Shruikan, was killed in a desperate suicide attempt. With his falling, lifeless body, intertwined, was Eragon, Saphira fell along with.
Death. The battle ended. Death, everywhere. Both sides retreated in a mad frenzy, to lick their wounds, and mourn loses that were so heavily born to their forces. 100 years was a sufficient time. The Varden left to repair. The Empire, to regrow.
All heroes of that age, were buried, forgotten, six feet under. Villains alongside. Few still live from that age.
The Varden are once again thriving. The Empire, grown, and deadly once again. Galbatorix, having been far past insanity, died. His funeral was attended by few. But a shadowy figure has once again risen, a mysterious male. The land is without Riders, Heroes to finally bring around the end of the savage ruling. Whisperings across the fire tell of hidden eggs. Will you save us? Or be the ones to destroy us?
