When it rains in the cities that Sin forgot, it can last for what feels like, forever. For seven days and seven nights...
There should have been a repeat of the archaic flood, long ago.
The Yakuza, the Japanese mafia, the organization that runs the prefectures and cities of Japan. Once thought to be a single working unit.
But no more. The derivative groups fight every day for the rights to the turf of the most prestigiously advanced country of the world. The average citizen can barely step out of their home without fearing today is the end.
The streets of Tokyo were once lead alone by the Hi-Tatsu, the organization with such old lineage everyone knows the names of their sons, thus the bloodlines of the old ways of the Yakuza. However, from Japan’s dregs came a small, but influential group, the Tora Sho-ri. Though the rights to Japan’s mafia belong to the Hi-Tatsu, they allowed the Tora Sho-ri to have some dominion.
The key being some.
The Hi-Tatsu and the Tora Sho-ri were at a uneasy alliance. But, now the Tora Sho-ri have gotten out of hand and new groups have arisen as well. It’s an all out thrown down to control and to live.
Every day could be the last when you're caught between two smoking guns; the struggle for power of the Hito-Hebi has only made it worse. Two already agreed on reign of Japan but with the addition of this new catalyst the wars have begun anew.
Life is a struggle.
Every day is a war.
