             I think it is a good idea, but people have different views of “culture” in races; so it might get a little messy? I kind of like this idea, but it would involve a lot of work, and the staff are usually the ones doing it. But, maybe if the members contributed and got some information, it would be alright. I would say yeah, but I have my hands full already. ^^

I like that idea! Like have diverse cultures and such, it might boost things a bit, when there are characters of different cultures chatting and such...oh, but that woudl be messy. Still an awesome idea!

We do have species contests. =p Called The Dictionary Contest. That one is closed, but I'm sure Master will be opening another one soon enough. ^^;

yes like obvisly the fox things whatever they are called would be japenese the selkies would be sort of norse maybe insted of catagorising by leter we could do it by race like nativre american egyption or do that and keep the dictanary as well

I would like to bring this topic back up for discussion due to a conversation I had with Assassin on the subject of Dark Elves. Now Assassin based her concept of Dunmer on Oblivion (I have never played, thus I know nothing about it) while I based my Drow on the D&D concept. Now, Dunmar and Drow are pretty much the same species (Dark Elf) with the same appearance with only slight magical differences (Assassin's concept is resistent to fire, my concept has various magics adapted for underground) and cultural differences in regards to government and social structure, but Assassin's concept is like any other common race on Zireling such as humans and elves that live in villages and have their own independent government and structure (from what I've heard already, correct me if I'm wrong). But, what I'm proposing is that the Drow and Dunmer, both being part of the same species of Dark Elf, are each sub-cultures. Drow live underground, have a highly matriarchal society, strong slave trade, magical adaptations, worships spiders, etc... Dunmer, can have details filled by Assassin. Also, I would like to rewrite the Drow entry in the dictionary to include more details. Whether Assassin wishes to do the same with the Dunmer would be up to her. Then maybe have a general Dark Elf entry and have the Dunmer and Drow as two of the cultures.
