alright.
so i looked at all of the boards and stuff.
and maybe this isn't a good idea, but i know that it would totally help me out.
so.
i have like characters that i don't use and that i'm afraid to put out in a roleplay. because maybe the roleplay won't work out and such.
so i came up with an idea! we can make a board kind of 'showcasing' our characters.
we can tell each other what the character is like, who he/she will get along with and won't.
because who wants to go around every single members characters, looking for a character?
when you don't even know if the character is being used or not?
this way- you could find the right characters you can roleplay with, and other people can find the characters that their characters would like
is it a good idea or not?
please give me input. :]

Umm, there is a thing called a “Profile” that you put “Information” in, such as this. This will include “Personality” and the “Other Information” category. It should state there. Does for me. When you look at Kaze; what do you know? He’s a bad a**, so, he will hang around the bad kind of people. Look at other characters and you will see… Personally, I dislike this idea… it will just cause more WORK for me and other staff members, and LESS work for you guys if you fill the “Profile” like you’re supposed to. |

We also have character charts where that you can fill out telling who your character is friends with, who they hate, etc. ^^;

i know...
but like, idk.
i am just thinking, and may i remind you, this is just me thinking, this may be dangerous.
that it would be much more [bad grammer,i know, excuse me] convinient.
it would be easier for me, because it would all be in one place, and simple.
simple is good.
and then people can like talk to other people [inside the board] about their characters, and if they would get together.
that way;;
you don't have to sort through all of these members, message them, and be like... oh, can i roleplay with this character?
when that character may be in use.
please just give me your thoughts, thanks.

Hehe. That WOULD be a LOT of work, but I know what you mean about simplicity and it being good. However, with what you and I would skip around merrily with would cause the staff major issues and cost them a lot of time and effort they could be using for other aspects of the site. (Hello, there are many. XD)
Something that could be easy for everyone involved that, perhaps, would work for what you're looking for, is a "Wanted" board. I'm not sure if ZK has one already because I'm still not done looking/reading through the plethora of information here, but it would be simple to make and use. (A staff member would make the board and members would create threads. Simple, yes?)
Oh, and a Wanted board sort of works like an advertisement in a newspaper. d: Each threads holds whatever information you'd like about your character(s) and what type of person/people and relationship(s) you want for him/her/them.
For example (maybe a lame example XD) ... Say I want a boyfriend for my character, Ezva. I'd post a thread including, but not limited to, this sort of information: her name, the link to her bio (because that's important, hullo), the link to her character chart, and any/all information that would be important in the male. Make sense?
edit: If this board was made, maybe it could be a sub-board in the "Character Charts" board? Easily accessible and yeah. d: |
