Name of site: The Path to Take URL: thepathitake.proboards.com Plot (if any) or summary, a welcoming:
Yonnel stood on his earthen home, the place where he felt more at home than in the clouds with his sisters, and looked out across the lands which were just beginning to heal from the war against their original maker, his own father. With a sigh, the bay stallion turned to look across the cavern to the figures moving toward him, beings he had sensed instantly from the moment they had joined together and decided to visit him. As they grew closer, the darker hued one stepped out in front of her sister, marching with purpose toward the male who stood placidly watching them. Weshtrel's temper was easily aggravated, and he could tell she was angered to an extreme now. He could understand her anger, but he disapproved of it. It made her weak.
"We must do something about Danathala," the Dark Goddess fumed, coming to a halt which made her mane and tail flare up around her bodice, "Even you must agree with that, Brother." Yonnel blinked and lowered his dial, sniffing absently at his ankle, knowing Weshtrel's impatience would demand he answered immediately which he didn't feel like doing. Instead, their third sibling spoke up, saving him from offering his opinion. "Although I would prefer we could take no action, I believe there is no other choice in this matter," Lena agreed, a rare thing for the Light Goddess to do when her sister presented an option. Her light eyes looked at the only male god with sincerity and gentleness that Weshtrel hardly ever had, but which also turned him cold to her in another way. Yonnel was the patron god of the Neutrals, and his heart did not side with either of his sisters although he had the tendency to support his Light sister because of his darker sister's occasional attempts to rid the world of her siblings. Despite that, however, he was at his base, a supporter of equality. Without equilibrium, the world would tip too far into the Light or the Dark and thus, it would be destroyed. And knowing this, he also knew the right choice in dealing with the rebellious Guardian of the Sky.
"You're both right," he finally replied, turning back to look out of the opening over the lands that were so precious to him. "This is our world, and the Guardians only serve to protect it. They do not have the free will to destroy or create, only to protect." Weshtrel smiled pleasedly to herself before her grin turned dark with evil intent. "And if that b*tch touches my underworld again... we'll need to find another Guardian." Lena gave her sister a disappointed look - the Light Goddess was too kindhearted to truly turn anger against anyone - while Yonnel rolled his eyes and sighed audibly. "Yes, she will pay, little one, but we must work together in this effort."
Turning back to face the goddesses, Yonnel's tail flicked with an audible 'snap' that echoed off the walls of his sanctuary. "This world will be ours once more."
