Plot (if any) or summary, a welcoming: ] Before the schism, all the world was good and whole, all the equi of the earth at peace with one another.
From two herds came two yearling colts, as close friends as could be found. Alabaster, the elder of the two, was brilliant whie. Obsidian was purest black. One day while playing on the outskirts of their fathers' terrs, they met a young palomino fae named Aerie. As they learned and grew together, both stags found themselves falling in love with the beautiful fae, neither admitting their true feelings for her. When the two steeds came of age and prepared to leave their home herds, both asked her to join them as their queen. Aerie was torn, not wanting to hurt her friend, but eventually admitted her love for Alabaster, leaving Obsidian heartbroken. Over the next few years, the two kings grew powerful, their herds growing. Obsidian fell in love with a fiery mare called Ember, but he and Alabaster never reconciled, he to bitter to forgive, and his old friend to proud to apologize.
As time went on, the horses in the realm began to pledge their allegiance to either of the stags, the once unified herd beginning to divide. Those who did not support either side formed their own herd, standing behind Alabaster's younger half-brother Hurricane and his queen Sea Quinn.
And so the Schism between Dark, Light, and Neutral was formed.
