Deep sleep...I have never had a better sleep in my life. Here I lay, the warmth of him next to me, and it was all thanks to my Guardian...Silverfli.....
"It has been years since anyone has spoken of the first Guardians. Silver Tint and FlyGirl were their names. Both of them were Andalusians, the purest of their blood. Only the most advanced horseman or woman could ride them. It was strange to their owners, FlyGirl would only allow females to mount her, while Silver Tint only allowed males to ride him. And as it turned out, those who rode them fell in love with eachother.
Many believed that this could never happen. The equine had no such power to make humans fall in love. So they decided to test it themselves. Some people would take rides with their best friend, whom they would never come to love. Others rode with an enemy. It turned out they all fell under the equine's spell.
The horse's owners could not explain this phenomena. It was so odd, beautiful, but odd. They would not have their horses matchmaking, that was the villager's matchmakers job. Then, what would they do with the horses? Both of the owners debated. Long days and nights passed and still the horses fate was undecided. Until one fateful day the owners figured it would be better to dispose these two abominations rather than keep them.
It was a horrible announcement. Crowds of people cried for the sake of the equines, the equines that brought so much happiness to all of the villages. So, the magicians began to work. It took many nights for them to conjure the best potion, but they did. In an old tavern, one with a dark back room, the magicians enchanted a wall. The wall became a mystic portal, which the horses were led through.
The horses thrived. Their own "civilization" sprung from the grace of those magicians.
Silver Tint and FlyGirl wished to help others, but there were a few problems. For one, only those who believed in the horses power could enter, and secondly not all were allowed in by the portal.
It took years for me to discover how exactly to get people through the portal. There are so many unknown or unspoken rules that one will learn.
You must know, the horses are real. Their power is amazing. And they can find your soul mate better than any human could....."
