In this time, humans live out in the open with nothing to fear but the dangers of the human world. They have no clue about the other creatures that live amoungt them. The humans cannot even begin to understand the chaos that lurks in the shadows of day and in the darkness of the nights that pass by them so quickly.
In these dark nights, a war wages between two races. This battle has always been between the werewolves and the vampires, races that have never been able to work together nor live together in peace. Each have their own background stories on why they hate each other and end up fighting against one another, but neither side will give into a truce.
To kill someone, means that someone who loved or cared about that person will seek you for revenge. In turn, they will kill you. Then someone who cared about you will seek revenge and kill your killer.
One person can stop the entire killing by deciding to forgive.
But the world does not work that way with these beings. These beings are too driven for sin. None can fight the emotion of anger and the lust for revenge. War is all these creatures know of.
In the Werewolves society or “pack” as they like to call it, the pack leader himself made a law. “Hunt as a pack or don’t hunt at all. For the time you should hunt by yourself and risk revealing our identity, your existence to this family is terminated.” When he said to hunt, he did not mean about hunting for food or victims. He meant the hunt for vampires that they hunt all over the city—in secret. To Werewolves, the mere thought of the vampires biting a human and draining the life from them is disgusting and pitiful. It makes them even angrier when the vampires decide to change humans into newborn vampires. They have always made it their mission to stop the vampires and protect the lives of humans all around.
The vampires are lead by someone known as the Prince of the Vampires. He lives in Italy along with four more followers who aid him. He is the leader of the Vampires that exist all over the planet, and every time a vampire is born, they are brought to the Prince. He is in charge of making sure that no vampire does anything that will allow the humans to find out about their existence. Too many massacres of the humans are not allowed; large armies of vampires, and too many newborns are also forbidden. To all of the vampires, werewolves give off a fowl smell, they only think of them as filthy dogs and nothing else. Though they do most of their feeding in the dark where no one can see them, and cause only minor damage, the werewolves always get in the way. It infuriates the vampires with how those dogs cannot tell the difference between a good and bad vampire. Some are only trying to survive, others enjoy inflicting pain on the humans, but the werewolves care nothing for that.
To the Weres, all Vampires are sinners.
