Population count?

How many humans are there on this site? What about merpeople? How many are female or male?

I thought it might be useful if there was a population count, i know it would be useful for me when i make other characters to know what there is a lot of and what there needs to be more of. Maybe it could be done in a poll listing races and sex. Just an idea.

We had something like this, but just with males and females. It slowed down the site, so we removed it form the header and such. =\ I was kind of thinking of bringing it back somehow, and having, like you said, a species count, but I kind of think it’s a little too much work for the administrators, or well, me. Heh… Who knows though… Maybe we can have it again, if someone other than me does it.

It would take a little while but i could set up a web site easily. It could list the charrys in order of sex and/or breed as well as mixed breeds with links to each of the profiles.

iv been making simple web sites for years (for my self) that sort of thing is about as difficult as sneezing. The only reason it would take time is because of the amount.

It never use to have all of the pop ups but i can look for a better host for the site (they are just too anoying) as for who will do it umm well there is me and umm... if any one else wants to help that would be great.

             I'm new and going to put my two cents in. ^^ Hope that's okay?
             I haven't seen this site that you're talking about, but if it's run on Angelfire, there's going to be a lot of problems. It's not a very good host site, in my own opinion anyway. I've never used it just because of what others have told me as far as it's concerned. Plus, every time I've gone to Angelfire site, it's been difficult to navigate. Just awkward all the way around. -shrugs-
             Rather than a whole new website, you could just start a thread here that lists everything. This is actually something most RP sites do, whether it be for face claims, to list students and staff in their certain grades, etc. An example:

species name
name of a female
name of a male

*repeat that for all of the species*

             You could add a code to it so members can either reply and list their characters for you, as well as where they go in the list. It'd be as simple as modifying the list and deleting the person's post to keep the thread clean.
